Rants an Raves

Howdy folks. Ol Zeb here. Im gonna try'in write up a post ever now an then about my rants and my raves. My nephew, E.N. abliged me into doing this. Well, guess I need to introduce myself. If you've read Path of the Miccilian, you already know who I am and where I came from. For the folks that dont have a clue, well, just sit right thar an let me tell ya. You may have noticed, I talk a lil differant than most. Well, thats cause I come from up the holler a ways. You know, go up to the ol forked oak and turn left., then go about 15 furlongs and turn right at the stump next to the cattle guard. Then mozzy on up the hill till ya get to the rutted drive on the right. You know, way up yonder on the mountain. Yep, Im just an ol gezzer from the backwoods of East Tennessee. Now dont let my dialog fool ya. Im a very educated man. Since ya cant hear me, I figure I jus need to spell it like it sounds. Then maybe, by the time your done reading, you might jus talk like me.

Anyhow, I moved up here to Broken Spur many, many years ago when I was jus a young whipper snapper. After I got up here I made some unusual friends. These new friends are prolly the reason I became a hermit. And prolly cause, I jus dont like people. Nothing personal. Im jus better alone. Now theys a few that say all these years alone has made me a grouchy, onery ol goat. Now I hate to be that way but now... Just go take a trip to the grocery store or anywhere in public for that matter. Dont you just wind up teed off too? Bunch a inconsiderate no good fer nuthin bunch of busy bodies that dont think of no one but their selves. Hardly no one goes outta their way to help anyone anymore. That why I jus go into town once a month. Dont need to fuel the anxieties of life.
